Smalley Wins Sunnehanna Amateur Championship

Duke Junior, Alex Smalley, continues his remarkable play after WINNING the Sunnehanna Amateur Championship in Johnstown, PA. Hamilton’s 73 Wins State Title!

Congrats to Riley Hamilton of Reidsville, NC after WINNING the individual state title at the VISAA Division II State Championship at Meadowbrook Country Club. The Carlisle HS sophomore fired a 73 for the victory, and helped to seal the team title for the Chiefs by draining a 12-foot putt for par on the 18th hole!

Herring Wins Bojangles!

Congrats to Jake Herring of Wilson, NC. The freshman from Fike High School is now a 2-time TYGA champion after WINNING the TYGA Bojangles Junior Open (Ages 13-14) AND taking 1st place in the overall championship in a playoff! Jake is now ranked #58 in the NC Junior Boys’ TYGA rankings.

Congratulations to Duke Junior, Alex Smalley, for being named to the 2017-2018 All-ACC men’s golf team! Alex was 1 of 15 student-athletes chosen for the honor for the 2nd consecutive year, proving himself to be one of the best golfers in the ACC and in the nation (ranked #38). Burris lights up a 65!

Alex Burris, a junior at Appalachian State had a strong April for the Mountaineers. First tied a school record by firing a 7-under, 65 in Round 2 at the Wofford Invitational in Spartanburg, SC. Burris then closed out the season with a 16th place finish at the Sun Belt Championship after shooting 72-74-71 in the

Smalley 69 in US Open Local Qualifying!

Duke Junior, Alex Smalley, takes the first step to making a repeat appearance at The US. Open. On May 8 he shot a 69 in US Open local qualifying at Duke University Golf Club! Alex now moves on to US Open Sectionals which will be 36 holes. Last year Alex shot 68, 69 in Sectionals

Smalley Lights it up in April!

Duke Junior, Alex Smalley, had a terrific April for the Blue Devils. He finished in 2nd place finish at The Stich Intercollegiate followed by a 12th place finish at the ACC Championship. Alex’s scores for the 2 events were: 73-65-68 and 70-67-71.

Boyette Freshman of the Year, All Conference!

Congrats to Bryson Boyette of Barton College for being named Freshman Player of the Year and All-Conference! The Wilson, NC native won the BC Intercollegiate, finished runner-up in the Southeast Preview at Rock Barn, and posted 2 other top-15 finishes while playing much of the season in the Bulldogs’ No. 1 spot. Way to go!

Patrick Clarke 15 for 15!

Washington Valor kicker, Patrick Clarke III, is off to a great start this season in the Arena Football League. Patrick is 15 for 15 in PAT’s this season through 2 games!
